Citrus Packhouses

Magrabi Agriculture has currently 3 citrus packhouses, all located in the middle of its citrus fields in Mafa 4. This ensures that transport of fruit is all internal and that packing is done as soon as the fruit is ready to be harvested. The first packhouse was established in 2004. In 2016 we built 2 new packhouses which pack fruit according to the most modern packing and sorting techniques. Every single orange is photographed 40 times (20 pictures in color and 20 in black and white) and sorted according to size, skin condition and color. Mafa has a separate packhouse to process and pack organic fruits. All packhouses fulfill the requirements of the ISO 22000:2005, 180001, Fairtrade and BRC. Packing specifications are based on client's specifications as well as the requirements and regulations of the country of import. |
